This “ Wine Bottle Christmas Décor Centerpiece “ is perfect as a centerpiece for Christmas. I used discarded wine bottles with different sizes that my sisters gave me over Thanksgiving Day.
As many know, I hate throwing stuffs out. I always find something useful out of no-longer useful items. For me, unusable items can always be reused for some other purposes.
Last Thanksgiving, I found some wine bottles in my sister’s garage. They’re all empty and she said that they’ve been there for a long time. She said they’re going to the trash eventually.
The first thing that came to my mind was to re-use them as centerpiece decoration just because I have seen these bottles used as centerpiece by a lot of people.
I sure did not make any mistake taking these bottles from my sister. The Wine Bottle Christmas Décor Centerpiece project came out perfect. The bottles look elegant and high-end. You wouldn’t think that they were created using cheap materials.
Had I bought it from the store, each bottle would have cost me around $10 each.
With some Christmas tree inserts and ornaments, this centerpiece came to life beautifully and elegantly. My sister was jealous when she saw the centerpiece. I would have given the finished product to her but I live almost 700 miles away from her.
The only thing I changed on this centerpiece is not make the bottles Christmasy type. As you can see, the bottles are painted white. I intend to use them on other seasons and using white is the best option. I can always change the inserts and ornaments to fit different seasons.
There really is no instruction for this DIY. All you need to do is get some empty bottles, take off the stickers, and paint them with color you desire. Some stickers are hard to take off. What you can do is fill the bottles with water and soak them in boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Take the bottles out of the water and peel the stickers off.
After those steps, decorate the bottles. It is really so simple and easy to complete. I managed to complete everything in less than 30 minutes.
