This ” Two-Ingredient Dark Chocolate Ice Cream ” is as simple as it can be. With only two ingredients, you can make an ice cream that’s healthy, sweet, and yummy, too. You don’t have to feel guilty when you start and finish eating this healthy ice cream.

I love ice cream. Let’s get that straight and out of the way fast.

Having said that, I don’t eat ice cream that often because of its content. My wife told me that I am depriving myself of this yummy dessert but when I taste an ice cream, all I can taste is the sugar. Seriously, whether I eat a fancy-type ice cream or the not-so-fancy type of ice cream, all I taste is sugar.

As much as I want to eat ice cream, I can’t eat too much of it because my family has a history of diabetes. I stay away from sugary products even those sugar-free products just to be on the safe side. That being said, I always find ways to satisfy my own dessert cravings. Luckily, the internet is a vast world with a ton of different recipes.

This is where the two-ingredient dark chocolate ice cream.

I make this ice cream almost always every week and I never get tired of making and eat it. Sometimes, I change the flavor but I mostly stick with dark chocolate. This is so healthy and sweet (but the natural-type sweet).

If you are avid fan of dark chocolate, you surely will love this ice cream. If you are not, then, you can always substitute other flavors such as strawberries, vanilla, and the likes. Your imagination is only your limitation when it comes to flavors.

The texture of this ice cream is the same as that of a regular ice cream. You may taste a little bit of banana but it’s not evident because of the dark chocolate’s taste.

Basically all you need is 2-3 ripe bananas and 2-3 tablespoons of dark chocolate cocoa. That’s it.

Without further ado, let’s make this tasty two-ingredient dark chocolate ice cream.

Slice the bananas. Place bananas on a parchment covered baking sheet. Freeze for 20-25 minutes. Note: Parchment is needed to avoid bananas from sticking on the baking sheet.

Put the frozen bananas and the dark chocolate cocoa powder in a blender or a food processor. Blend until ingredients are mixed together and look like a soft serve ice cream. Note: You can add sugar or honey if the ice cream tastes bitter. You can also add chocolate chunk, if you desire.

Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.
