Yehey! It’s crock pot day.
We designated Saturday as our crock pot day. Well, I should say that it’s our lazy day and cooking is no exception.
Cooking and cleaning stuff after cooking can be exhausting, to say the least, especially when you them everyday.
That’s why we dedicated our Saturdays for a non-cooking day. This doesn’t mean that we buy foods outside. No no no.
It only means that we get to use our crock pot. In the past, we used it from time to time but not on a consistent basis. But now, it is being used every Saturday.
The meal this round is Slow Cooker Meatball Stroganoff.
Just the sound of it seems to suggest that it takes a whole lot of effort to make it. Not at all. Seriously, it’s so easy to do and yummy in the stomach.
The Slow Cooker Meatball Stroganoff is so easy to create. It’s the same procedure that you follow when using crock pot for other dishes, that is, throw everything in the pot and let everything cook. That’s really about it.
This meal is one of the best crock pot meals we’ve ever made.
The thickness of the sauce and tenderness of the meatballs are just enough to make you feel full without even tasting the food. The balance of flavor is perfect.
This meal can be used as sauce for pasta or it can even be used as your meal together with steamed white rice. What you prefer (pasta or rice), this dish will surely satisfy your hunger. You’d probably go back for a second or a third.
My family especially my daughter loved it. My daughter is so picky when it comes to pasta. She doesn’t east pasta with sauce (i.e. she only eats plain pasta). She tried this one and she liked it.
My wife loved it, too. She’s been craving for a saucy-type meal and this fit the bill.
