The best I have ever created out of leftover cake is this Super Easy Leftover Birthday Cake Trifle.

The newly reformed cake is delish. It’s simple but is one-of-a-kind.

What’s so special about this recipe is that you do not need to use your oven. All you need are a couple of ingredients and some skills on layering the ingredients. That’s it.

This Super Easy Leftover Birthday Cake Trifle has always been a hit with my family. I exactly know what they want when they see leftover cake on the table. I don’t have to say anything because I already know what exactly they want.

This dessert never goes out of the style. Even when there are so many desserts or recipes that my family sees from time to time, this dessert always comes to the top of our favorites.

Like what I say, it’s simple. Actually, it can be done in less than 10 minutes.

Yes, when you have all the ingredients, you can basically turn your leftover cake into something else that’s even more tasty and yummy. Think of this cake as the ugly duckling.

Why did I say that? I say it because leftover cakes, for the most part, aren’t pretty on our eyes. But once you use these leftover cakes and turn them into trifles, you’ll see that they are more beautiful than ever before and even more delicious.

Trifle is a great dessert to use for brownies, cakes, or even muffins. As a frugal person like me, I don’t like throwing away food. This is the best way to use that leftover.

There are so many ways you can play with this recipe. You can basically put whatever you like and it’s still going to be called trifle. But my recipe is simple and it works wonders to my family.

Without any further ado, here is the recipe for the Super Easy Leftover Birthday Cake Trifle.

Prepare the pudding per the pudding directions. Set aside.

Cut the leftover cake into pieces. Layer the glass container first with cut cake enough to cover the bottom of the container, then, chocolate pudding. Top the chocolate pudding with the vanilla pudding and, then, top the vanilla pudding with cool whipped topping.

Repeat the process until your desired trifle height is reached. Top with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.

Note: The thickness of the cake, pudding, and cool whipped topping depends on how high you want your trifle be.

Final thoughts:

That’s about it. See, you can make a dessert without baking or cooking. All you need to do is whip some pudding and do some layering and that’s it.

Are you going to make this when you have leftover cake? Are you going to use the ingredients I have here or something else.
